Features:
Extremely high corrosion resistance. 2205 stainless steel plate has dual-phase structure (coexistence of austenite and ferrite) enables it to maintain the original performance of steel for a long time in the face of harsh environments such as chloride ion corrosion and oxidation. This feature makes it widely used in highly corrosive fields such as petroleum, chemical industry, and marine engineering.
Excellent strength and toughness. Its yield strength is more than twice that of ordinary austenitic stainless steel, which means that it can show higher stability and safety when bearing heavy loads. At the same time, its good toughness also ensures that it can absorb energy when it is impacted or deformed, avoiding brittle fracture, thereby improving the reliability of the overall structure.
Good processing and welding properties. 2205 stainless steel plate is easy to process and form, and can meet the production needs of various complex shapes. At the same time, it has excellent welding performance and can be processed by common welding methods. The welded metal and thermally altered parts can still maintain the same corrosion resistance, strength and toughness as the base metal.
Specification:
2205 stainless steel plates have a wide range of specifications. The thickness of hot-rolled plates ranges from 3mm to 200mm, and common widths include 1500mm, 1800mm and 2000mm. The length is cut according to customer needs, and common length specifications are 6000mm and above. The thickness of cold-rolled plates is relatively thin, ranging from 0.3mm to 6mm, and the plate surface specifications include 1000×2000, 1219×2438 and 1500×3000. These diverse specifications meet the material size requirements of different industrial fields.
